TOM WRIGHT
Hey, I’m Tom. Thanks for visiting my website.
I’ve wanted to be a musician for as long as I can remember. It all started when I was about three, sitting in the front seat of my dad’s car, singing along to Eddie Cochran, Elvis Presley, and Chuck Berry. My dad also had a rock and roll band, and I’d tag along to their soundchecks, soaking up every note.
When I was seven, I found a half-size acoustic guitar in a local shop on New Year’s Eve 2001. From that moment, I was hooked. I spent hours every day learning chords and copying solos from those classic rock and roll records.
I left school at 16 to tour with bands and began writing my own music, inspired by artists like Billy Joel, Keane, and Brad Paisley. Over the past decade, I’ve been fortunate to perform across the UK, Canada, and Europe in shows like The Billy Joel Songbook, Walk Right Back, Lipstick On Your Collar, A Vision Of Elvis, and many others.
In 2015, I released my debut album of original songs, followed by singles like “Mr Telecaster,” “I Hate Missing You,” and “You’re Better Than This.” During the pandemic, I released “Same Old Story,” and in 2022 I released my EP Ruins, which I’m incredibly proud of.
I’m continuing to write and record new music, and I can’t wait to share more with you soon.
Join me on my journey.
Tom x
